  • What is your plan for uploading videos?
  • How are you going to promote?

5 Steps to Learn Basic Level

  1. Planning
  2. Channel / Profile Set Up
  3. Shoot Video
  4. Edit Video
  5. Publish

Planning:

It is the main key to achieving success. You should have your game plan in every activity. Otherwise, it can be like Delicious Food without salt.  Just take a pen and paper, and note down some basic information as below.

  • Pick a Content Topic
  • Choose Platform
  • Choose Location (Indoor or Outdoor)
  • Arrange Shooting Equipment
  • Set a plan for Shooting, Editing & Uploading on Social Media

Before you start your journey, it is very important to understand that a successful channel is one that has a commitment to its audience for providing quality content on a scheduled period.

That means you need to set a scheduled plan when you will upload videos on social media.  It will create a psychological effect on your audience that will force them to find and watch your content on a specific period if they missed watching.

Channel / Profile Set-Up:

Creating and setting a channel or profile is one of the crucial parts. I have observed that most of the newbie YouTubers are not so serious about their channel name. Suppose you have created a channel name which name is difficult to remember or may be difficult to pronounce. Now there was a strong possibility of losing several viewers.  My suggestion is for you to create a simple, easy to remember channel. It will be great if this name is related to your content.

Shoot Video:

Before shooting your contents, remember some basic points. First of all, I will suggest you if you are a newbie YouTuber, you don’t need an expensive DSLR or any other camera. You can use any device where video can be recorded in HD format, that’s enough. The second thing is sound. It is a base of your video. So use your microphone properly to get the best quality sound for your content. Most viewers skip videos for irritating and unprofessional sounds.

Edit Video:

Do you know 6 billion hours of video are watched on YouTube every month? So make it is crystal clear to you that you are entering a platform where you can be a Digital King if you have a perfect presentation plan. That is nothing but editing your videos at your best. There was lots of free and paid software available in the online store. Find them, learn them, and implement your knowledge as much as you can.

Publish:

Now your video is ready. You have planned for content strategy, create your channel with name generator tool, shoot your content and edited like a Pro. Now it’s time to show your creativity. There have lots of video sharing sites available on the Internet. To get shared and embedded easily, I will suggest you post on YouTube, the 2nd largest platform after Google.

Good luck.
